Dataset as of 7 September 2026 · 159 rows over 172 trading days from 1 January
1. Four rows, and the net flow did not move
Five sessions have passed since the last edition — Tuesday 1 September to Monday 7 September; the Monday before that was the summer bank holiday, which the tape counts as a closure rather than a quiet day. Four rows were added in them: three suspensions (Engage XR Holdings and Headlam Group on 1 September, Milton Capital on 4 September) and one intention to float (Jet2, 3 September). No admissions. No cancellations.
So the flow figures read today exactly as they read a week ago: 35 admissions against 57 cancellations over the covered window, net −22 as of 7 September 2026. Three companies stopped trading last week and the number that counts arrivals and departures did not move at all.
That is the scope rule working rather than the feed failing, and it is written into the dataset: net flow is admissions minus cancellations, and a suspension is neither. A suspended company has not left the market, and the tape declines to record it as though it had. The money line is unchanged for the same reason — still stated by 15 of 35 admissions, because there was no admission to state anything.
For scale on the suspensions themselves: 49 are recorded over the 172 trading days covered, and July alone holds 15, the largest single month on the tape. Last week's three do not disturb that ranking.
No criterion tag on this entry. A week with no arrivals and no departures says nothing about anybody's procedures.
2. Six intentions to float on the tape, and all six are venue transfers
As of 7 September 2026 the tape holds six itf rows, and the transfer flag is true on every one of them: The Smarter Web Company (12 January, from Aquis), Amaroq (18 February, from AIM), Rosebank Industries (31 March, from AIM), Cordiant Digital Infrastructure (10 April, from AIM), Roundhouse AI (28 August, AQSE Growth Market to AIM) and Jet2 (3 September, from AIM). Five of the six are moves onto the Official List and the Main Market; one is a move to AIM. Not one is a company arriving in London from outside a London market.
Set that against the one share figure the page does publish. Transfers are 40% of the 35 admissions in the window — a sample of 35 against a threshold of 5, so it prints. The completed record is a mixture; the recorded pipeline, on six rows, is not.
The readiness link is genuine, which is why this is an entry rather than a count. A company moving off a growth market and onto the Official List is applying for admission to a regulated market, and the sponsor's confirmation under UKLR 24.3.2R(5) is required in full — an existing quotation elsewhere does not discharge it. The rule set such an issuer is joining is the Main Market's: DTR 7.1.1R's requirement that a body perform the audit committee functions, and periodic reporting on DTR 4.1.3R's four months for the annual report and DTR 4.2.2R's three for the half-yearly. Which of those already applied on the venue being left is a question for each issuer's own advisers. What the tape can say is that every intention it has recorded this year is a company heading into that set rather than a company already inside it.

3. Two intentions in eleven days, and the withheld figures did not move
Roundhouse AI on 28 August and Jet2 on 3 September took the tape from four recorded intentions to six inside eleven days. Neither advanced the median ITF-to-admission sample by a single row, and the reason is worth stating plainly: that figure is built from admissions matched back to an earlier intention by the same company, not from intentions. Its sample stands at 4 as of 7 September 2026, against a threshold of 5 — so /tape prints "not enough data yet", and this edition states no median either. Post-ITF completion is further off still: 4 resolved against a threshold of 8.
What did move is the count that measures announcements: two live intentions, none gone quiet, on a 180-day rule that stops a float which was announced and never happened from sitting in the pipeline forever.
Announcements arrive faster than the events that would let you measure them. That is a property of the measure, not a finding about the market, and there are only two ways to make either number appear before its sample does — lower the threshold, or classify more generously. Neither is available.
No criterion tag. This is an entry about the dataset, not about anyone's file.
4. One of last week's suspensions is the front end of an admission
Milton Capital, 4 September: a shell company in the equity shares (shell companies) category requested suspension of its listing at 7.30am because a proposed acquisition would be an initial transaction under the UK Listing Rules. The announcement states that on completion the shell listing is expected to be cancelled and readmission sought to the commercial companies category. The tape records the suspension and nothing more — a row records what was announced, never what will follow.
It is worth pointing at because of the shape rather than the deal. A readmission reached this way produces no intention-to-float row anywhere on the tape: the announcement it starts from is a transaction announcement, and were it to complete, the dataset would book a cancellation and an admission for the same company some weeks apart. Any pipeline read off intentions alone is short by however many of these are running at the time.
The readiness link is the one /obligations makes about triggered duties. A transaction of this kind sets its own clock. The procedure for identifying a significant transaction, the process for assessing its accounting and tax consequences, and the monitoring that reports exceptions to the board either existed before the announcement or they are now being written against a deal timetable — which is the most expensive hour at which to write them, and the one at which nobody has a spare afternoon.
